Games that have been nominated were released between December 1, 2012 and November 30, 2013. For their writers to win, they also have to be members of the WGA Videogamer Writers Caucus. At the Writers Guild Awards 2011 and 2013, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and PlayStation Vita game Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation walked away with the prize respectively.
