Steps for setting up screen time for kids on iPhone-
There are two ways you can set up screen time for kids on iPhone. 1- Directly on the device. 2- Through family sharing. You can set up screen time directly if you want to directly control their screen time. This is a preferred option for most parents. Simply go to ‘Settings’. Then you will see the option for Screen Time. Once you tap on it, you will see a number of options. Click on ‘Continue’ at the end of the page. Then tap on the option ‘This is My Child’s iPhone/iPad’. Then you can set the duration for which you don’t want them to use the device. After setting the time, click on ‘Set Downtime’. You can also set the amount of time that you want your child to spend on a certain app. After setting up all this, you can also set a four-digit passcode, so that your kids wouldn’t be able to alter any settings on their own. You can also set up screen time on your iPhone for your kids through family sharing. For this, you will have to create an Apple ID for your kid. This means that even your kid will be able to share all purchases. This option lets you customize the screen time for all people using the device. This ensures that everyone gets screen time and other controls according to their needs. You can begin by creating an account for your kid. Then go to ‘Settings’. Then click on your Apple ID. Then go to Family Sharing. Then tap on ‘Screen Time. Then you can follow similar steps above to set the downtime for your kid. It is now virtually impossible to keep children away from screens.
