Changing your ATM pin is necessary in order to use it post the initial activation. Additionally, if the same sees any misplacement or you forget the PIN, even then you need to change the PIN without delay.

Using the YONO app

SBI customers get access to generate the ATM Pin using its Yono app. You can simply change the pin but card activation is not possible with the app. For the latter,  rely on changing pin and activation via Internet banking  ATM hub or SMS in order to generate and then activate any new SBI card, you need to use the facility for Internet banking, SMS method  and ATM service.

Open up the Yono app to log in with the online banking password.Click on the hamburger sign. Then, select Service Request. Click on ATM/Debit card Services.

Enter the profile password used via net banking and the click on ATM/Debit Card Activation.

Key in the 16-digit ATM card number and click next.

Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile.

Finally, change the SBI ATM pin via the YONO app.

Using SMS Mode

To generate SBI ATM pin via SMS, use the registered mobile number. Key in a message that reads PIN . Send this to 567676.You will receive the One Time Password (OTP) . This will be valid for a couple of days.Within these two days, visit your nearby SBI ATM with this OTP and change your SBI ATM PIN.

Follow the same steps for generating the PIN of a new SBI card.

Using internet banking Mode

Visiting the bank could be a hassle and therefore, Net banking facility allows you to change the ATM pin right from your home. Follow the steps below-

Visit www.onlinesbi.com. login to your account with the user ID well as password.Click on ‘ATM card services’ under ‘e-services’ and then ‘ATM PIN generation’. Choose between OTP method or the Profile Password method.Enter this number in the relevant column. Enter savings account details. Select Continue—ATM Card—- First two numbers of PIN. The last two will get sent to the registered number linked to account via SMS.Enter these two digits you selected earlier with the last two digits that you get on the phone.
