Step 1: Press the Home button on your remote to get to the Home screen, then choose Settings at the top of the screen. Step 2: Scroll to the right and choose the My Fire TV menu item. Step 3: Choose Restart near the bottom of this menu. Step 4: Select the Restart button on the left to confirm that you want to restart the device. It will take a minute or two for the device to shut off and turn back on, at which point you will be able to resume watching movies and TV shows.
