Install the Chrome extension: Google Meet Grid View from the Chrome Web Store. (Remember, you will have to use Google Chrome from a PC, Chromebook or Mac)Once the extension is installed, anytime you are in a Google Meet a new button will show up at the top right corner of your web browser.Click on this button to enable the grid view and customise how you’d like your layout to function.
