It’s good news for gadget lovers once again. Verizon has recently rolled out its new system on the HTC One model. However, the Android Kitkat update still continues for the HTC one handsets. Mo Versi, the executive director of product management for HTC on Thursday announced via twitter that Android 4.4.2 for the Verizon HTC One had received all the technical approval. Therefore, the update began on the Verizon HTC One handsets later the same day. The Verizon HTC One update has faced a little delay in being rolled out. Though the manufacturer had focused on updating the US carrier models by late January, the certification process staggered the process briefly. Despite this, the Sprint HTC One and other Canadian models also began receiving updates of Android 4.4 through manual download just after HTC announced setback in rollouts. The over the air update would commence on Tuesday. Other models yet to receive updates are AT&T and T-Mobile HTC One. HTC One Google Play Edition, HTC One Developers Edition and the HTC One unlocked model updated to Android in 2013.Verizon HTC One model is the second to receive an update. With the new updates, the phones would be incorporated with new and updated features, a new-fangled simple access menu and an easy pinch-in gesture technique of turning Blink Feed on and off. Location settings would be different along with gallery settings, lock screen and music applications. There also will be available a ‘do not disturb’ application. HTC One Max in Hong Kong has also embarked on updating to Android 4.4 KitKat.This would be the first HTC One Max update. This perhaps indicates that rollouts for U.S. models are not too far off.
