HTC One: The latest flagship smartphone to hit the market, HTC One features an absolutely stunning 4.7-inch full HD display with a resolution of 468 ppi – the highest so far in a smartphone. We do wish it had a slightly bigger screen though. It is powered by a quad-core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor and 2 GB of RAM. You can choose from a 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage space. The HTC One ships with Android 4.1.2 but can be upgraded to Android 4.2.2. The phone is fitted with a unique Ultrapixels camera which the company claims can reproduce much higher quality images, even in low light conditions. It comes with a massive 2,300 mAh battery. Sony Xperia Z: Sony’s flagship smartphone was announced during CES 2013 and is ready to hit the markets. The Xperia Z has a gorgeous 5-inch full HD display with a 441 ppi resolution. It is powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon Krait processor and 2 GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Sony has put in 16 GB of internal storage in this phone, but has also included a microSD card slot in case you need more space. The Xperia Z is fitted with a 13 MP rear camera with an Exmos RS sensor and a 2.2 MP front-facing camera. Powering the Xperia Z is a 2,300 mAh battery which provides up to 14 hours of talktime. The USP of the Xperia Z is that it is dust and water resistant, making it a sturdy, reliable buy, especially for the extra-clumsy customers. BlackBerry Z10: The former world favorite smartphone, BlackBerry, sure got quite a nice uplift and the Z10 looks a lot better than the older models. It runs on BlackBerry 10, an OS that is far better than the previous offerings and it looks like it can hold its own against tough competitors like Android and iOS. The Z10 has a 4.2-inch display with a resolution of 356 ppi, so in terms of display, it lags far behind its other two contenders. It is powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon Krait processor and 2 GB of RAM. Like the Xperia Z, it also has 16 GB of internal storage as well as a microSD card slot. Unfortunately, even in terms of camera, this one’s far behind with its 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front-facing camera. It is fitted with an 1800 mAh battery, which promises a talktime of up to 10 hours.
