The IT Ministry has said that they have received several complaints through different sources that suggest misuse of some of these mobile applications. Available on both Android and iOS platforms, these platforms have come under the scanner for “stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users’ data”. Below is the list of 59 apps banned by the government of India.
