One of the most popular TV News anchors of the present times, Goswami has become both famous and infamous for his style of presenting news and loud debates. Trolls are nothing new to the 47-year-old. Notably, Arnab Goswami makes the headlines and Twitter trends just as much as the news he presents. Thus, it was no surprise when the Kapil Sharma Show decided to do a parody on the popular News Anchor and his Republic TV colleague Pradeep Bhandari.
Nation Laughs at the Raddi News’ Parady on #TKSS
Kiku Sharda, the comedian behind popular characters, Palak and Lachcha enacted as Arnab Goswami during the latest segment of Raddi News. Sharda was joined in by KrushnaAbhishek, who took over the stage as Pratham Kumar, which seemed like a parody of Pradeep Bhandari. Bollywood Actor, Manoj Bajpayee and Director Anubhav Sinha also featured as guests on the Sunday Episode. We couldn’t help but laugh our hearts out when Kiku Sharda would not let the veteran speak. Kiku Sharda asked Bajpayee, “Why the actor chose to come with the 55-year-old Anubhav Sinha when he himself has an ANUBHAV (Hindi for experience) of 25 years in the film industry.” However, Sharda cut Bajpayee as soon as he begins to speak recreating the common scene from Repulblic TV debates.
Twitterati choose #TheKapilSharmaShow over Bigg Boss and IPL

In probably a first, netizens could not help skipping the Sunday IPL Match to watch Kiku Sharda in his new avatar inspired by the Republic TV MD, Arnab Goswami. A fan tweeted, “This is first time since we watch #TheKapilSharmaShow over IPL, and it was worth watching. Amazing thing is that today Kapil& co not only trolled Arnab(Drugs do Wala) but also he takes on ‘Lord’ Pradeep bhandari. Iseykehtehaiektir se 2 nishana” Another Twitter user also shared results of his recent poll between Bigg Boss 14, Dream11 IPL 2020 and The Kapil Sharma Show. The comedy show won the poll as fans chose it over both Bigg Boss and IPL as their favourite for October 4.
