What Musk believes?
After he faced criticism for this plan for charging Twitter users per month, for keeping the blue tick on account, Musk has tweeted a handful of memes as a defence to his decision. Elon Musk is defending the decision vehemently. He had been posting tweets over the last two days. One of his tweets goes, “Twitter’s current lords & peasants system for who has or doesn’t have a blue checkmark is bullshit. Power to the people! Blue for $8/month.” Musk firmly believes that this subscription fee can generate, for Twitter, “a revenue stream to reward content creators” while the company won’t have to depend on advertisers.
Summing up
People are not in approval of Musk’s new rules right after his takeover. Even the seasoned users on Twitter are not happy with this decision. Musk, however, has been left unaffected by any of this outcry.
