Leaked photo of Smart watch
According to the sources, the image was first published by Bloomberg. An app developer discovered the image within the company’s controlling app. The Meta app, through which the image was leaked, was used to control smart glasses introduced by the company as a partnership with Ray-Ban. The smart watch might give competition to the most renowned Apple Company. As per the leaked image, the device carries similar squared watch face that Apple watch also has. The extremely defined curved edges with small lugs for securing detachable straps, makes it more enhanced than Apple watch. The screen’s lower bezel also features a camera notch holding a front-facing camera. There will also be a secondary 1080p rear camera on the device, according to the outlet. Also, the entire display can be detached from the stainless steel case and can be attached to hubs on other accessories. There is no confirmation from Meta on the same, but according to the outlet the watch will be officially launched in 2022. Apple, this year, introduced an ‘App Tracking Transparency’ feature, proving users with control over their data and impacting Meta’s business. CEO Mark Zuckerberg took a swipe at Apple, decrying experiences that are “more tightly controlled than ever” in his pitch supporting the metaverse, “This is not the way that we are meant to use technology,” Zuckerberg said. “The metaverse gives us an opportunity to change that if we build it well.”
