Realme “1-4-N” Strategy
The smart speaker launch is part of Realme larger “1+4+N” product strategy; one core, four smart hubs and N number of AIOT gadgets. The company maintains smartphones are the core of its product line up in the country with the four emerging hubs including smart TV, smart watch, smart earphones, and smart speakers. Lastly, the smartphone manufacturer also plans to launch a number of AIoT (Artificial intelligence of things) devices. The Realme line up of AIoT gadgets would include several lifestyle products like smart home tech, travel backpacks, etc.
When will Realme Launch Smart Speakers In India?
Realme is most likely to launch its smart speakers somewhere in between September and October 2020. The company is said to launch the smart speakers in Vietnam in November later this year and schedule India launch before releasing it in Vietnam. Thus, it closes the possibilities for India Launch to October and September. However, as the pandemic continues to command economic activities around the country, buyers can expect further delays before the actual sales can begin.
First Look of Realme Smart Speakers Unveiled
The popular smartphone manufacturer has teased the first official look of its upcoming smart speaker. It shared a promotional YouTube video teasing its range of old and upcoming AIoT devices. Notably, the video features a black-coloured, Realme labelled smart speaker. As the user in the video asks to switch on the TV, smart speaker enables the TV to turn ON instantly. Moreover, the video also features several other IoT devices including in-car chargers, Realme SmartTV, Realme Smart Watch, etc.
